The event will be reinforced by the VETECO International Fair of Windows and Crystallized Sealing, also a reference for its respective sector, which will take place simultaneously from May 4 to 7, 2010. Both fairs will occupy between then almost the entire Madrid Trade Fair Centre – 200,000 m2 of fair space, bringing together one of the largest fairs linked to the construction industry. This double event will generate important synergies as both events share the same professional objective profiles and thus will have a positive effect on the commercial activity that will take place within the framework of the fair.

Consequently, the organisation has designed an interesting program of activities aimed at encouraging the presence at the fair of architects and other specifiers of the world of construction, restoration, and interior decoration.

Along the same line, provision has been made for the creation of an original architectural piece with a unique design made from contributions coming from material supplied by exhibiting companies that are interested in participating in this Project within the framework of PIEDRA. This initiative provides companies with an additional element for promotion and an opportunity to stand out among all exhibitors. It will offer information resources of great media benefit.

PIEDRA’s major impact in the industry is confirmed by the results of its last edition that brought together 975 companies, and welcomed 33,509 visitors. Over 43% of exhibitors came from abroad and the number of buyers from abroad was 13% of the total.
