Qatar’s spectacular economic success, due in part to the remarkable growth of the tourism and construction industries, has made Doha’s Project Qatar one of the most important construction industry tradeshows in the world.Spanish firms will participate in the event as part of sector-based projects developed by ICEX, the Spanish Institute for Foreign Trade (Instituto Español de Comercio Exterior), to raise the international profile of the Spanish stone industry. The Federación Española de la Piedra Natural, FDP (“Spanish Natural Stone Federation”) will be making arrangements for the pavilion. These companies will have the opportunity to meet with importers and partners from the Emirate. A guided tour of Dubai’s innovative buildings, architectural techniques, and construction materials will be organized. The purpose of the trip will be threefold for participating Spanish companies: tradeshow, delegation and tour.
