Sponsored by the government of Qatar, the event will be held at the Qatar International Exhibition Centre in the capital city of Doha. The exhibition hall offers 82,000 m2 of space, including 18,000 m2 reserved for exhibitors. Facilities include meeting rooms, a business center, communication rooms, on-site parking and guest services.

Despite its brief history, Project Qatar 2010 has become a major event for the construction industry in recent years. The tradeshow was first organized in 2004. Although similar events are held throughout the region–in Dubai, for example–the reputation of the Qatari show has become stronger every year.
