In view of the constant increase in the participation of national and international professionals and visitors, the Marmomacc organization is convinced that it can become better, improving the satisfaction of exhibitors and visitors (including the levels of quality reached by the design exhibitions), as well as improve the perception of materials and applications.

In addition, the Best Communicator Award highlights important collaborations that are made between the marble and stone sector professionals and internationally renowned architects. For example, this was made clear in the last edition of the award in 2008, with the joint selection of “Il Casone” by Claudio Silvestrin and “Pibamarmi” by Michele De Lucchi and Philippe Nigro.

The award was given to “Il Casone” based on the skill of processing and utilizing a single color from the stone surface through various effects achieved by processing. This was done through the symbolic form of the spiral, creating a certain impact and sophistication. In the case of “Pibamarmi,” it was given for the effectiveness of the exhibition, based on the proposal of the continuity of a creative relationship between the designer and the company, which in turn became a design concept centered on originality.

These examples demonstrate the versatility of the stone materials when creating temporary spaces, and the ability of these types of companies to express a poetic vision, an emotional impact and a communicative effect. It has been clearly demonstrated that the exhibition stands are not limited simply to the company presence, but are above all capable of showing the production quality. These values emerge in the care devoted to quality, exhibition details, and the juxtaposition between the products on display and the components of the creation itself and their coherence.
